A removals company. Not a broker.
We own the vehicles, we employ the crews, and we do the work. The domain says agency because that is the address that was available, and we would rather say so on the first page than let three syllables imply something untrue.
No memberships we do not hold, no awards we have not won, and no total of moves completed invented for a homepage.
Why that needs saying
Because a great deal of what looks like a removals website is not one. Lead brokers, comparison forms and marketplaces all collect your details, sell them to whoever is buying, and disappear from the transaction. You then deal with a firm you did not choose, which found you through an auction.
That is a legitimate business and it is not this one. Your brief comes to us, we survey it, we quote it, and our crews carry it out. Where a job genuinely needs a specialist — a piano up four flights, a deep-sea container, licensed waste disposal — we name them and say why before you book, rather than handing it on afterwards.
Why we grade by instruction
Most firms sell a van and a crew and treat everything else as extras. It sounds simple and it makes the most important question invisible: how much of this move is still going to be your problem?
Carrying a house somebody else has packed, packing it and carrying it, and running the whole thing down to taking the empty cartons away are three genuinely different jobs. Naming them as levels lets you choose deliberately instead of discovering on a Thursday night that packing was yours all along.
What we will not do at any level
Decide what you own. We do not sort, edit, value or dispose of anybody’s belongings, and we do not offer opinions about what is worth keeping. A crew’s off-hand guess about a piece of furniture is worth nothing and can cost somebody a great deal.
We also do not do sea freight or air freight. Our international work is road work across western Europe. Anything further is another trade and we will point you at somebody rather than take the booking.
One crew, one vehicle
On long-distance work your goods are loaded once and unloaded once, by the same people, off the same vehicle. Nothing is transferred at a depot overnight and nothing waits on a pallet for a trunk run.
It costs more to run that way and it removes the largest single cause of loss on a long move. If you are comparing us against something noticeably cheaper for the same distance, ask the other firm how many vehicles your furniture will be on.
How we quote
We survey, then we write a figure down. No prices on this site and no transit times on the country pages — both would be guesses presented as information, and the second figure always arrives later.
